Louis Lipscomb Brown, 95, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016.
Louis was born on August 29, 1920 in Birmingham, AL and was educated in the Birmingham schools. He served his country during World War II, serving in the US Army and was a member of the First Special Services unit, also known as the Devil's Brigade.
Louis was a Sales Executive in the construction/concrete industry. He was a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, a member of the Downtown Rotary Club, having been awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship. In his spare time he enjoyed playing tennis.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Vaughn Brown; daughters, Nancy Brown Miller (husband, Gene, deceased) and Janet Elizabeth Brown.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30am Saturday, February 6, 2016 at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church with The Rev. Susan Sowers, officiating. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
