Louise Morris, 84, of Elberta, AL and formerly of Pensacola passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011. Mrs. Morris was born on October 19, 1926 in Uriah, AL the seventh of eight girls born to Katie and Alvin Brown. She grew up in Monroe County, AL and moved to Pensacola in 1945. In the spring of 1946 she married James L. Morris and they had five children. Mrs. Morris was Baptist by faith. Her parents, six of her sisters, her husband, daughter; Delores Nelson and daughter in-law, Alice Morris preceded her in death. Survivors include her four children, Glenn Morris, Gordon Morris (Debra), Ronnie Morris (Tia) and Paula Sigourney (Bob); ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Mary and many other relatives. Funeral Service will be 10:00am Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Alvin Potts officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Justin Morris, Trevor Morris, David Morris, Nick Yonke, Vernon Colbert, William Nelson and Danny Edmonson. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504.
