Obituary

Master Sergeant Lucene Harper, USAF (ret.), 81, of Fredericksburg, VA, formerly of Pensacola, FL, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017.

Lou was born in Covington County, AL on January 7, 1936 to Velma and Dan Harper. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norah P. Harper; sister, Judy Martin and stepson, Ben L. Kenter, III.

Mr. Harper is survived by his brothers, Charles Harper (Ida) of Washington, and Douglas Harper of Alabama; sisters, Virginia Clark (Joe) of Kentucky, Carolyn Harper of Texas and Jean Bozeman (Jack) of Alabama; stepson, William A. Kenter (Jan) of Fredericksburg, VA and two grandchildren, Lauran Kenter of Fredericksburg, VA and Michael Kenter of San Francisco, CA.

Visitation will be held 10:00-10:30am Friday, December 29, 2017 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Cortege will depart Harper-Morris at 10:30am for a Graveside Service to begin at 11:00am at Barrancas National Cemetery, Naval Air Station, Pensacola.
