IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lucie Meriam
Williams
December 9, 1928 – February 27, 2017
On Monday, February 27, 2017, Meriam went to be with her LORD and Savior after a long and valiant battle with Alzheimer's. Meriam was born in Clayton County, GA on December 9, 1928 and was the only child of Edgar and Nellie Haun. She spent her childhood in Clayton County, GA until she met the love of her life, George Williams. After they married George and Meriam enjoyed life as a military family. Meriam was a magnificent wife to George and together they loved to travel and experience new places, ballroom dance and spend time with their family and friends. After moving to Pensacola, Meriam loved working at Gayfers until her retirement in 1991.
Meriam was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, George Williams, as well as her parents, Edgar and Nellie Haun.
She is survived by two children, Theresa (Richard) Coffey and Tony (Janice) Williams; five grandchildren, Justin T. Williams, Alissa Williams Lindheim, Miranda Coffey Lampron, Shannon Colburn and Trint Colburn; and four precious great-grandchildren, Pariss L. Stark, Jubilee M. Lampron, Braden J. Williams, and Kaemon Colburn all of Pensacola.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt love and appreciate to Meriam's caregivers, Cathy Winkler and Theresa J
ordan for their devotion and loving and caring for our mother like she was their own.
In addition, we would like to thank Emerald Coast Hospice, Hillcrest Church and the Chea Family for their love, care and support.
