Lynn Evans Sullivan, age 65, of Pensacola,  passed away Friday, February 18, 2022. Lynn was born November 16, 1956 at Camp LeJeune, N.C., to George (Tip) Evans and Kathryn Murphy Evans. She attended London Central High School, Great Britain and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School her final high school year. She attended LSU for an academic year, but left to pursue professional training in graphic arts in Tallahassee, FL.

Lynn was a devoted wife, a loving mother, daughter and sister. Lynn's last professional responsibility was as an X-ray technician at Ascension Sacred Heart Urgent Care Center, W. Street, Pensacola, FL. She was a highly talented graphic artist, winning the highest Pensacola Addy Award for the Some Like It South campaign for the Pensacola Junior League. Her "watermelon" cookbooks, first published in 1984, are still available in local bookstores. Prior, she opened Zippity-Do-Duds in Pensacola, a store featuring her hand painted clothing for young children. She also painted signature shirts for the local Artesana shop staff for several Christmas seasons. In Moscow, Russia, 1973, she was observed in the center of a small crowd of people, who, apparently, were fascinated by her blue jeans, not generally available in Russia at that time. She had embroidered a detailed circus parade all the way up the side of her jeans, possibly a part of the attraction.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her loving husband, James (Jem) Morgan Sullivan;her son, Everett Webb Sullivan; her father, George Evans; her mother, Dr. Kathryn Evans; siblings, Laurie Holley, Julie Moore; aunts, Dr. Shirley Branan, Betty Duke, Ann Evans; a number of nephews and nieces, as well as a dear friend who over the years, became family, Jina Milburn Ames. Preceding her in death is Lynn's dear sister, Joana Wesley Adams, June 25, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at McIlwain Presbyterian Church, 1220 E. Blount St., Pensacola, FL, at 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, with Pastor Rob Looper, officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church prior to the service, from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

A casual celebration of Lynn's life will be held at the home of Ted and Sharla Gorder, 216 Ariola Dr., Pensacola Beach, FL, Saturday, March 5, at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Lynn's name to Waterfront Mission, Pensacola, FL.
