Mabel "Ann" Bonifay, age 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2024, in Pensacola, FL.

She was born February 1, 1932, in Pensacola. She was a graduate of Pensacola High School. She married the love of her life, Richard Gale Bonifay, on June 25, 1954, and they had 4 beautiful children together. She was a member of the Nativity Council of Catholic Women at church and loved her church family very much.

Ann truly lived life to the fullest and had such an adventurous spirit. She loved going to the beach and having a picnic, she enjoyed playing the piano and playing cards, but spending time with her family and friends is what she enjoyed the most. Her wit, charm, and beautiful, loving heart made an impact on everyone she met.

Ann was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, and Mamaw. She will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to know her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Gale Bonifay; her son, Michael Gale Bonifay; and her parents, Myrtle Leah and Franklin Thomas Thames.

She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Watts (David) and Lucia Greenfield (David); her son, Tom Bonifay (Cami); as well as 7 adoring grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

A visitation will be held 10:00am until a Funeral Mass to begin at 11:00am on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park, Pensacola, FL. Friends and Family are welcome to gather at O'Brien's Bistro directly after the graveside service.
