Mable Ernestine Mancil, 84, of Pensacola, FL passed away Friday, November 14, 2014. Mrs. Mancil was born May 15, 1930 in Holt, FL. She graduated from Munson High School and Massey-Draughon Business College in Montgomery, AL. She met and married the love of her life, William "Bill" B. Mancil in Pensacola on September 3, 1955. Mrs. Mancil was her husband's secretary at home during his many years selling automobiles in this city. Most recently she volunteered in the library at First Baptist Church, in addition to other church duties she was a devoted attendee to Wednesday night prayer meetings, dinners, and every Sunday morning service and Sunday school. She was a member of the Symphony Guild and was a regular attendee of performances at Pensacola Little Theatre. She is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" B. Mancil; her parents; one sister, Florene Brown and one brother, David Davis. Survivors include her sister, Annie L. (Davis) Weekley; numerous nieces, nephews and many many friends. Visitation will be held 12:00noon until the Funeral Service to begin at 1:00pm Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at First Baptist Church-Pleitz Chapel with Dr. Barry Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church - Samaritan Hands.
