Malcolm "Mac" Rodman Klauss, Jr., 76, a long-time resident of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away from this life into Eternal Rest on Monday, May 24, 2021.
Mac served honorably in the US Navy as well as in the US Air Force Reserves. Mac loved the water and fondly spoke of his childhood and family. He was a financial advisor by profession. He was a Christian by faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm Rodman Klauss, Sr. and Cecil Adele Boell; as well as a sister, Melanie Anne Klauss Stafford.
He is survived by his siblings, Madeline Adele Klauss McMillan, Arthur Boell Klauss (Rebekah), Deborah Sue Pezzillo (Samuel), and Katherine Dianne Klauss; his son, Malcolm Rodman "Trey" Klauss, III (Crystal) and their children, Lauren and Savannah; daughter, Kimberly Ann Lubinsky and her children, Tyler and Ashley; mother of his children and ex-wife, Carol Jean Jones; his sons, Adam William MacArthur Klauss, Samuel Joseph Patrick Klauss, Noah John Malcom Klauss, and Christian Paul Rodman Klauss; mother of the children and ex-wife, Leanne Dawn Whalen.
Visitation will be held 9:30am-10:20am Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral cortege will depart Harper-Morris at 10:30am for an 11:00am graveside service at Barrancas National Cemetery with Rev. Matthew Bray officiating and military honors.
