Michael Benjamin Gregg (nickname MacGregor) died of cardiac causes on Monday, August 23, 2021.

MacGregor was born July 17, 1955 in New Jersey. He was a lifelong surfer and worked as a cook offshore in New Orleans as well as in restaurants on Pensacola Beach. He spent a few years in Hawaii during his youth. When his father was Chieftain of the American Scottish clan of Gregor, he received a membership and T-shirt for the clan MacGregor for Christmas. Mike said he didn't know what other people got for Christmas, but he was officially a MacGregor. The name stuck for the rest of his life.

He is preceded in death by parents, Paul Charles Gregg, Sr. and Ann Gregg of Pensacola, FL.

MacGregor is survived by his siblings, Paul C. Gregg of New Orleans, LA, Katherine G. Quinn of Cedar Park, TX, Patricia A. Gregg of Jay, FL, Janice Wilkins of Pensacola, FL, and Elizabeth L. Gregg of Pensacola, FL, his aunt Audrey Gregg of Pompano Beach, FL and aunt Trini Gregg of New Jersey as well as numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral Mass will be held 11:00am, Monday, August 30, 2021 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze.
