Obituary

Madalynn Marie Newhouse was called to be with our Lord, her big brother Ethan, and her Grandpa Joe on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 after an unfathomable accident. She was just 3 1/2 years young.

Madalynn, or Maddi, was... LIGHT. LOVE. JOY. She was our princess, our unicorn, our knight in shining armor. To most who knew her, she was our world. To her parents, Steven & Saber, she was their universe...their "to infinity and beyond."

...and in her short time on this earth, she changed the hearts of many who knew her and who needed their hearts healed. She spread that light inside of her to strangers in the drive thru, neighbors on the street, and a network of connections on Facebook. If Maddi crossed your path in life, you have undoubtedly felt the impact of her fiercely loving and gracious soul.

Some of Maddi's favorite things here on earth were: French fries, corndogs, fishing, swimming, purses, shoes, sunglasses, hats, rings, her doggies Jo Jo, Fancy, & Chico, painting, singing, music, dancing, golfing with daddy, wrestling with mommy & daddy, jumping on any bed but especially her Nana's bed. She loved being outdoors, especially the beach and the river. She loved having people come visit her and she made every single person she met feel like they mattered: because they did matter to her. Some of her favorite shows were: P.J. Masks, Shimmer & Shine, Dora the Explorer, & Paw Patrol.

She was both a Daddy's Girl & a Mommy's Girl. Mommy & Maddi had their special cuddle spot and routine while Daddy and Maddi had their "Daddy go to work and make $9 dollars" goodbye ritual. She even filled her Maddi-sized Coach purse with $9 in bills her daddy gave her to further the meaning of this special tradition.
