Marcia Wirtz Press, 84, of Pensacola passed away Monday, January 14, 2019.

Mrs. Press was born on November 14, 1934 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to Richard and Kathryn (McKay) Wirtz.

Marcia worked with the Mother's Seaton Guild in the Gift Shop at Sacred Heart Hospital, and volunteered at the Saenger Theatre. She was a faithful member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. Marcia loved traveling, good food, people and animals. Marcia took a special attention helping people heal in need.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Warner J. Gale, Jr.; and sister, Jane Wirtz Brown.

Marcia is survived by her husband, Gene L. Press; daughter, Kathryn Gale Sims (Joe); son, Jeff Gale (Katie)l four grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A Private Family Graveside will be held in Mobile, AL with a Memorial Service at a later date at St. Mark United Methodist Church.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, February 9, 2019 at St. Mark United Methodist Church, 2203 N. 12 ^th Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32503.
