Margaret Ann (Curtis) DeSantis, 69, of Pensacola, FL passed away Friday, July 6, 2018.

Margaret was born on January 4, 1949 in Wilmington, OH to Jack F. and Rose Lee Curtis. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati – X-Ray School. After graduation, she moved to New York City where she started working in her career as an X-Ray / CT Scan Technician. However, in her heart, she really wanted to pursue her dream of getting married and having babies. Margaret loved being a mother to her two daughters and especially adored being "Nana" to her two beloved grandsons, Charlie and Devin. She enjoyed cooking, reading, crocheting, gardening, and spending time with family and friends especially those in Erie, PA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her beloved dog, George, who we are sure greeted her in heaven with open paws.

Survivors include her two daughters, Debbie DeSantis Russo (Emilio) of Pensacola, FL and Tracey DeSantis of Erie, PA; grandsons, Charles and Devin of Erie, PA; two sisters, Betsy Russo of Granville, OH and Mary Ellen Zurface (Mike) of Taylorsville, KY; a brother, John Curtis (Sharon) of Wilmington, OH; as well as her beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held 2:00pm until a Memorial Service at 2:30pm Friday, July 13, 2018 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Deacon Richard Lurton officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Chick-Fil-A, Bayou Blvd. for providing a post-retirement work family as well as the staff at Covenant Inpatient Hospice Center at Sacred Heart Hospital.
