Marty F. Snyder, 65, of Pensacola, FL passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Marty was born May 8, 1945 in Dade County, FL. Marty was a lifelong residence of Pensacola and worked as a contractor for the Federal Government for 27 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Peters and mother, Julia C. Peters. Marty is survived by her husband of 44 years, Leo Snyder; her daughters, Andrea and Angela Snyder; sisters, Carol Hoover, Judy Leonard (Mike), Diane Maclay (Jackie) and brother, Stanley Peters (Mary). Marty was a wonderful wife, mother, sibling and friend. She will be very missed. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 10:00-11:00am at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with funeral services beginning at 11:00am at the chapel. Entombment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Chris Hoover, Tim Smith, Jay Maclay, Stanley Peters, Ross Snyder and Jackie Maclay. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5401 Corporate Woods Drive, #100; Pensacola, FL 32504.
