Margaret D. Schauer, 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at her home in Gulf Breeze after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Margaret was born on December 8, 1938, to the late Paul and Estelle Redd. She attended and graduated from Valley High School and after graduation she moved to Pensacola, FL to pursue a career in accounting at Monsanto.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Paul J. Schauer; two brothers, Jerry and Gilbert Redd.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Nikki Pagonis, of Gulf Breeze, FL; her two grandchildren, who she was most proud of Jorge and Margaret Rose Chavez, of Orlando, and Alex Pagonis, of Gulf Breeze, FL; as well as her beloved nieces and nephews, Daphne and Lauren Brunson Pagonis, of Chattanooga, TN, George and Lauren Pagonis, of Tampa, FL, and Josh and Lauren Pagonis, of Chattanooga, TN, and niece, Cherri Redd, and Gilbert Batley Red II, Joseph Redd (Jackie) and Cynthia Fannin (Eric) of Nashville, TN.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Frank Pattie and Eli Pagonis.

Pallbearers will be Alex Pagonis, George Pagonis, Josh Pagonis, Dall Bass, Frankie Patti, and Jorge Chavez.

Visitation will be held 9:30am until the Funeral Service to begin at 10:00am Monday, November 14, 2022, at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Pensacola, FL, with Fr. John Kalantzis presiding. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Gulf Breeze, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1720 W. Garden St., Pensacola, FL 32502.
