Margaret Anne
Singiser
August 20, 1940 – May 18, 2026
St. Ann Catholic Church
11:00 am - 12:00 pm (Central time)
Margaret “Peggy” Anne Singiser (Henshaw), age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born August 20, 1940, in Philadelphia, PA, Peggy built a beautiful life centered on family, friendship, faith, and loyalty.
Peggy and her husband, John Singiser, shared 61 wonderful years of marriage together. They raised their family in Wilbraham, MA, where she became an active member of the community and a faithful parishioner of St. Cecilia’s Church. Most recently, she resided in Gulf Breeze, FL.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Henshaw (Tynan) and her beloved sister-in-law, Joanne Henshaw (Schmidt).
She is survived by her loving husband, John; her daughters, Kristin Presz (Mike), Karin Gomez (Bill), and Suzanne Bailey (Danny), all of Gulf Breeze, FL; and the grandchildren she truly adored, Katie Metzger (Mitch) of Huntsville, AL, Celia Wines (Austin) of Gulf Breeze, FL, Erin Kirchgessner (Max) of Pensacola, FL, Will Gomez of Eau Claire, WI, Carly Presz of Centennial, CO and Joe Presz of Gulf Breeze, FL; and two great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy; she also leaves behind her brother, James Henshaw, of Wildwood, NJ.
Peggy was fiercely devoted to her family. She was strong, loyal, and never one to tolerate nonsense from anyone. Her daughters and grandchildren always knew they had someone in their corner no matter what. One of her greatest joys was cheering from the sidelines at countless sporting events, proudly supporting her grandchildren in all of their pursuits.
Her most favorite times were spent on family vacations in the Poconos, Sea Isle City, NJ and Navarre Beach, FL. She will forever be remembered as the Mrs. Claus of the family. Spoiling everyone with her many treats and gifts, making cherished memories and building traditions for her children and grandchildren to carry on.
She also treasured the many friendships she built over the years at Wilbraham Country Club, where she enjoyed golf and made memories that lasted a lifetime. She proudly scored three holes-in-one during her years at the club. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures as well – especially her many treats of chocolate: pudding, ice cream and cookies along with watching beautiful sunsets while enjoying a Dewar’s on the rocks with a splash of water shared among friends and family.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at St. Ann Catholic Church, Gulf Breeze, FL.
Her family finds comfort knowing that the love, laughter, and strength she gave so freely will continue to live on through all who were fortunate enough to know her.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to St. Ann Catholic Church, Gulf Breeze, FL or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
