Margaret was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola, born on September 7, 1928 to Charles B. and Evelyn (Phillips) O'Connell. She graduated from Pensacola High School. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Margaret was always ready to offer a kind word or support to anyone. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart and served her community for 53 years as a member of the Mother Seton Guild at Sacred Heart Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Arthur Joseph Zabinski.

Survivors include her children, Denise Ney (Steve), Jeffrey S. Zabinski, Sr., (Mabel), Andrea Schaill; grandsons, Jeffrey Zabinski, Jr. and Patrick Zabinski; granddaughters Annaliese Ney and Maizie Schaill.

A Rosary will begin at 5:00pm Friday, October 7, 2016 followed by the visitation until 7:00pm at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with Msgr. Michael Reed celebrant. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Zabinski, Jr., Terrell Deason, Steven Ney, Michael C. Thorsen, Donald Petsinger and Collin Petsinger.
