IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margot
Krueger
March 6, 1920 – November 18, 2017
Margot Krueger, 97 of Pensacola, FL passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017.
Margot was born on March 6, 1920 in Hamburg, Germany, the youngest daughter of Robert and Amalia (Liszio) Trumann. She became a professional photographer and worked/resided in Berlin during the Second World War, doing portrait work for numerous German film celebrities at that time.
She met her husband, Kurt Krueger, while in Germany and were married in 1950. They then immigrated to Canada, and finally to the United States in 1954, having lived in Michigan, New York, Texas, and Missouri before finally relocating to Pensacola in 1983. She became a homemaker, but continued to maintain her photography and picture development skills by taking portraits of family, friends, and their children. Her husband passed away in 1985, but she continued to live in her own home until 2016 when health issues mandated additional care.
She is preceded in death by her father, mother, sister, brother, and husband of 35 years, Kurt Krueger.
Survivors include her son, Norman Krueger; daughter-in-law, Alice Krueger and her 3 grandchildren, Brian, Stephanie, and Kurt, and their families.
A Celebration of Life will be held, with a date to be determined.
And finally, a special thanks to "Granny Nannies of Pensacola" and their staff for their assistance to help her to remain in her home and independent as long as practical, and to all of the staff at "Broadview Assisted Living" in Pensacola for the care and compassion she received while a resident of this facility.
Services to be held at a later date
