Marie B. "Bobbie" Parks, 90, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014. Mrs. Parks was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola. She was born on July 3, 1923 to Mary Earnestine (Marchetti) and Charles Edward Briggs. She retired in 1985 with 30 years of service at Monsanto. Mrs. Parks was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Her parents; husband Benjamin C. Parks; infant son, Charles E. Parks; three sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Johns; 2 grandsons, Benjamin C. Johns and Aron L. Johns; 2 great-granddaughters, Ocean & Ivy Johns; sister, June Milstead; goddaughter Dani Knight as well as many other relatives. Visitation will be 12noon Tuesday, May 20, 2014 until the Funeral Service at 1:00pm at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Fr. James Valenzuela officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
