Marie Gund, 103, of Pensacola, died peacefully Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Haven of Our Lady of Peace. She was surrounded by family at the time of her death.

Marie was predeceased by her husband, Charles; son, Fred and granddaughter, Lindsay.

She is survived by four children: Ted (Judy) and Charles Jr. (Jeanne) of Pensacola; Ed (Sharon) and Nancy of Washington, DC; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff and volunteers of the Haven and Dr. Amos Prevatt for their loving care of Marie.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart as follows: Rosary at 8:30 a.m., Visitation from 9:00–10:00 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., immediately followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart or Pensacola Catholic High School.
