Marie Hombroek Tabb, 87, of Pensacola, FL passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020.

She was a native of Pensacola and lived in the Pensacola area all of her life. She was a graduate of Tate High School, class of 1951, and attended Wesleyan Conservatory of Music in Macon, GA.

Marie was a member of Olive Baptist Church, the Lottie Sunday School class and a past Worthy Advisor of the Order of Rainbow for Girls. She was employed by the Escambia County School Board and was a school secretary at Workman Middle School for 27 years.

Mrs. Tabb is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Tabb; her parents, Adrianus and Mattie Hombroek; two brother's, William Hombroek and Adrian Hombroek; two sisters, Florence Goetter and Myrta McHatton and step-daughter, MaryAnn Tabb.

She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Johnson, Susan Dawson (Gary), and Elizabeth Viola (Michael); four grandchildren, Brittany Horton (Adam), Meighan Gulsby (Aaron), Chase Green and Micah Grayson; and 4 great-grandchildren, Bowen Gulsby, Rayna Horton, Ronan Horton and Charleigh Rae Gulsby; two stepsons, Billy Tabb, Ricky Tabb and step-daughter, Lesa Hicks; dear life-long friends, Marsha Whitehead, Jackie Andrews and Sue Grimsley; as well as many precious nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 5-7 pm Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 10:00am Friday, August 21, 2020 at Olive Baptist Church, with Dr. Ted Traylor officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
