Marilyn Lee Netzer, 86, of Pensacola, FL passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023.
She was born on February 10, 1936, in Macomb, IL. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by all. She attended college in California and was a Licensed Practical Nurse. Marilyn loved animals, was an avid birdwatcher, member of the Audubon Society, and an artist.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John H. McDonald, Sr. and Frances Brown McDonald; her brothers, John H. McDonald, Jr. and George McDonald; her sister, Patty Lou McDonald; as well as her daughter, Marcia Lee Reynolds.
Survivors include her husband, Bernard A. Netzer, Sr.; children, Monica Tolbert (Garry), Mariann Taylor (Jerry), and Bernard Allen Netzer, Jr. (Jennifer); grandchildren, Amber Heppner, Jerry Don Taylor, Jr., Clinton Taylor, Stephanie Skinner, Shannon Lusko, Brendon Tolbert, Chancellor Netzer, Denali Netzer, and Nokomis Netzer; great grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, and Tyler Heppner, Jasmine and Tammy Taylor, Marcia and Jackson Tolbert, Jaylynn and Brooklyn Skinner, and Adelynn Netzer.
Visitation will be held 1:00pm until a Funeral Service to begin at 2:00pm Monday, January 23, 2023, at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, with Rev. Bobby Ellisor officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Bernard Allen Netzer Jr., Steven Reynolds, Garry Tolbert, Jerry Taylor Sr., Brendon Tolbert, Chancellor Netzer, Jerry Taylor Jr., and Clinton Taylor.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Jackson Tolbert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals "ASPCA", www.aspca.org ; or to the Humane Society, www.humanesociety.org .
