Marion L. Kennedy, 92, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020.

Marion was born June 25, 1928 in Waynesboro, MS to Mack and Nancy Lee. She had 2 sisters, Edna and Patricia and one brother, Phillip "Pete" whom she was close to until their deaths. Later in life Marion married Clyde F. Chason and in 1950 they welcomed the couple's only child, a daughter named, Deborah A. Chason. The family of three lived in Mobile, AL until Clyde's untimely death in 1967 in an auto accident. Later that year Marion met and married her second husband, Vernon R. Kennedy who she was married to for 38 years when he passed peacefully in 2005 at their home in Pensacola, FL. Throughout life Marion was a hard worker and dedicated volunteer. She made sure to always put the Lord first and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Anyone who met her knows how special she was, her love and beautiful spirit will continue to influence all those around her. She will be truly missed but we find solace knowing she has been reunited with all those that have gone before her.

Marion is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy M. Lee Anderson and father, Mack H. Lee; brother, Phillip "Pete" Lee; sisters, Edna L. Strickland, Nan L. Anderson, and Patricia "Patsy" L. Harris; 1st husband, Clyde F. Chason; 2nd husband, Vernon R. Kennedy; daughter, Deborah A. Graham (Chason) and son-in-law, Charles W. "Bill" Graham.

She is survived by stepsons, Vernon R. Kennedy and Raymond Kennedy; stepdaughter, Evelyn Glass (Kennedy); granddaughter, Carrie Lee Graham; as well as many nieces, nephews, step-grand, great-grandchildren, and many many friends.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, there will not be any services held at this time, but the family asks that each person honor her memory how they best see fit and to remember all the love Marion brought to everyone's life.
