Obituary

Marion Lee "Moe" Hayes, 70, died at his home in Pace, FL Sunday, February 8, 2015. He was born on December 13, 1944 in Pensacola, FL. He attended local schools and served in Viet Nam with the US Army. "Moe" was a retired fair rides inspector with the State of Florida. He loved hunting and fishing and was a member of Burnt Corn Hunting Club. He was a Cubs' fan and enjoyed SEC football, especially the Auburn Tigers. "Moe" was predeceased by his parents, F. T. and Dora Smith Hayes and a brother, James Hayes. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jane Campbell Hayes; daughters, Shannon of Birmingham, AL and Tracy of Jacksonville, FL; sons, Maury and wife Amy of San Antonio, TX and Matthew and wife Tonya of Dublin, GA; grandsons, Tyler, Ryan and Jamie and granddaughters, Katie and Sandra Jane; a brother, William (Bill) Hayes and wife Sarah; and a sister, Mary Bridges of Pensacola, FL along with numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 10am from Harper Morris Memorial Chapel, Pensacola.
