Mark Donan Gormley 67, passed away on May 24, 2024 at Baptist Hospital in his hometown of Pensacola, Fla. He was born on May 7, 1957 in Key West, FL.

Mark attended Woodham High School, Pensacola, FL., and went on to enroll at The Pensacola Junior College. Afterward he attended University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.

Mark served his country enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corp and later in the U.S. Navy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John D. Gormley and Joan A. (Herring) Gormley.

Mark is survived by Paul, his younger brother.

Mark was a gentle soul. Relaxed and easy going he was liked, respected, and loved by all who got to know him.  His great passion in life was playing guitar and songwriting.

He was a genuine artist whose music flowed from a deep emotional and spiritual connection. Mark will be profoundly missed. But his memory will provide inspiration, and happiness to his family, friends, and many fans around the world.
