Mark Albert Spillar, 50, of Pace, FL passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Mark was born on March 18, 1961 in Scranton, PA and was a graduate of Niceville High School and Florida State University. He loved life and lived it to the hilt. Weve all heard his jokes about the red golf tee, FSU Seminole Head and many more. He was a true FSU fan that bled garnet and gold, Mark loved all sports. Remember tailgating Senior Bowl , concerts, Bruce, Kid Rock, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and the good times with the Grill Master . We are all devastated with the passing of our son, brother, father, uncle, friend and soulmate. Survivors include his wife and soulmate of 15 years, Pam; daughter, Jackie Spillar; parents, John and Alberta Spillar; brothers, John (Becky) and Scott (Karen) Spillar; step-daughter, Danielle Smith; nieces and nephew, Shelby, Perry and Emily Spillar. Visitation will be on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 1:30pm with services beginning at 3pm at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Deacon Richard Lurton will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association, 3242 Parkside Center Circle, Tampa, FL 33619. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
