Mark Edward Wirtz, 54 of Pensacola, FL passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016.

Mark was born on September 29, 1961 at Wurzburg, Germany Army Base. He graduated from Alamogordo High School in Alamogordo, NM. He was formerly a foreman with Hamlet Construction in Ocala, FL and TB Landmark in Jacksonville and was currently with RAW Construction in Pensacola. Mark had also been a General Manager and Corporate Training Manager with Pizza Hut for over 15 years in Jacksonville.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Myrna Smith Wirtz and a brother, Gary Hart Wirtz.

He is survived by his wife, Gerri Byers Wirtz of Pensacola; sons, Mark Eldon and Jason John Wirtz both of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Jessica Wilson-Silas of Los Angeles, CA; father, Eldon Marvin Wirtz of West Chicago, IL; brothers, Eldon Allan and Michael Allison Wirtz both of Jacksonville and Andrew Raymond Wirtz of Evanston, IL with a sister, Lucille Harrell of Aragon, GA.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. Johns Landing Clubhouse, 11431 Kingsley Manor Way, Jacksonville, FL 32225.
