Martha Gail Mochel, 74, of Milton, FL, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024.

Marty was born in Lake Charles, LA on January 31, 1950. She grew up in south Louisiana and east Texas. She graduated from Broadmoor High School in Baton Rouge, LA where she enjoyed being with her vivacious group of friends and cheerleading. Marty worked hard in various roles in banking, medical, legal, real estate and photography. Photography was an interest in which she won awards, including a national Kodak contest. She also had a passion for bringing together family and friends to share experiences and holidays. She was loved and will be remembered in our love.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Jack and Allegra Kirkland; brother, Skip Kirkland and sister, Linda Miller.

Marty is survived by her husband of 27 years, Gary Mochel; son, Corey Braucht; daughters, Mandy McDiarmid (Derek), Sara Hallett (Toby) and Emily Davis and 7 grandchildren.

Marty wished to be cremated and will be honored at a celebration of life service on a future date.
