Mary Frances Coady Hall Gamber, 100, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023.

Mary Frances was born January 5, 1923, in Fernandina Beach, FL to Martin Joseph Coady of Bay Bulls, Newfoundland and Gertrude Ryan of Torbay, St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. Mary Frances began school at St. Joseph's Academy, St. Augustine, FL. She graduated from Immaculate Conception High School and St. Vincent's Hospital of Nursing, both in Jacksonville, FL. A scholarship to the Catholic University of America took her to Washington D.C. where she studied but resigned to pursue the adventures of a Navy wife. Her marriage to LT Jack Stephens Hall of Cairo, GA took place at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Thomasville, GA, January 1, 1945, and ended with his death in January 1984. Following a few years of widowhood, she married LCDR Gerald Keith Gamber of Pipestone, MN, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Pensacola. After twenty years the marriage ended with her husband's death in April 2011.
Mary Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude and Martin Coady; brothers, Martin Joseph and Howard William Coady; son-in-law, Howard Bogey; grandchildren, Alison Elizabeth Hall, Jennifer Lorraine Smith, Jeremy Neil Smith; as well as husbands, CDR Jack Hall and LCDR Gerald Keith Gamber.
She is survived by her children, Mary Frances Bogey, Stephen Anthony Hall (Leah), Jacqueline Honore Falzone, Patrice Michele Lenhart (Bob), Geoffrey Sinclair Hall, Ligaya Ann Zent, and Garry Kurt Gamber; her grandchildren, Timothy (Jen), Coady (Rachel) and Joshua (Bucky) Haga, Gabrielle (Kevin) Manzullo, Heather (Arwen) Vaughn, Jennifer (Micah) Long, Patrice (Joden) Werlin, Kate (Chris) Graham, Lucian (Liz), Ian and Raleigh Blackburn, Brooke (Kaye-Lani) Traxler and Dillon (Liberty) Zent; her great grandchildren, Ryan and Ethan Haga, Emily, Stella and Elena Haga, Zac and Madison Haga, Taylor Manzullo, Theo and Maddox Vaughn, Logan and Skylar Vaughn, Lena Smith-Dyche, Emma and Jack Werlin, Olivia Mansfield, Max Blackburn, Brooklyn Fanlo, Connor and Emery Zent.

Visitation will be held 1:00-3:00pm Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola, FL, with a rosary to be prayed at 2:30pm.

Funeral Mass will be held 11:00am Monday, February 6, 2023 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 9945 Hillview Dr., Pensacola, FL. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Timothy and Joshua Haga, Lucian, Ian and Raleigh Blackburn, and Dillon Zent.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pensacola Symphony, 205 E. Zaragoza St., Pensacola, FL 32502 or to the Ronald McDonald House, 5200 Bayou Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32503.
