Mary “Nancy” English, 84 of Pace, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Nancy was born on August 31, 1941, in Chicago, IL, to Thomas and Mary Murphy.

She married Thomas Patrick English of Pensacola, FL, in 1961, made a loving home, and raised a family. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, she loved unconditionally, gave generously, and offered kindness and a warm smile everywhere she went. She loved her eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews as well as her grand dogs and grand cats that she enjoyed spending time with often.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 48 years of marriage, Tom; her parents; sister, Kacy (the late Thomas) Wielgat.

Survivors include her four children, Thomas (Dora) English, Deborah English (the late Dennis Cleveland), Brian (Ashley) English, and Jeffrey (Allison Parish) English; sister, Peggie (the late Robert) Rafferty of Chicago, IL.

A private graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Nancy’s favorite charity St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
