Mary Evelyn Gregory, 88, of Pensacola, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, surrounded by loved ones preceding her passing.

Mary was born in Muskogee, OK to James and Evelyn Garrison. She graduated from Muskogee Central High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas and master's degree from Florida State University. She was the professional librarian for the Escambia School district for 30 years. Mary touched the lives of many. She was the sweetest mom, grandmom, great grandmom, and was a friend to many.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings; husband, Jack; and a daughter, Jayne Dodson.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Baker, Becki Nobles, and Sally Patton (Tim); grandchildren, Matt Oswald, Jack Whitewater, Lauren Patton Blenn, Andrew Baker, and Elizabeth Dodson; as well as many loving great grandchildren.

It was Mary's wish to celebrate her life in a private family celebration inurnment at First United Methodist Church.
