Mary Elizabeth Mitchell, 84, of Pensacola passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012. She was born in Pensacola and was a Homemaker. Of the Catholic Faith, her favorite bobby was shopping. Preceding her in death were her husband, James (Jimbo) Mitchell; her daughter, Cindy and (Sam); also a granddaughter, Sandi (Tom) De Franco and a brother, Ben (Helen) Golson. Mary is survived by her sons, Jim (Iva Dawn) Mitchell and Ronnie (Diana) Mitchell; a daughter, Donna (Bo) Jeudevine; her sisters, Eva (Clifton) (Chick) Mitchell and Peggy (Charles) Peeterse; brothers, Bub (Rita) Golson and Jay Golson; sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen (Chester) Stanhope and Bernadette (Don) Godwin; 17 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Wednesday, June 6, 2012 with a Rosary prayed at 6pm at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10am Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Fr. Michael Nixon officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be James Mitchell, IV, Preston Ramsey, Landon Jeudevine, Derek McDiarmid, Tom DeFranco and C. J. Mitchell. The family wishes to give special Thanks to Dr. David Phillips and Emerald Coast Hospice, especially nurse Shari. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
