Mary Ann was born July 21, 1930, in Prescott, WI to Rudolph and Ethel Merta. Mary Ann met the love of her life Skip and married in 1954. They traveled to various locations as a Navy family for the next 24 years. Retiring in 1978 and moving to Pensacola in 1997. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, sewing, and crafting.

Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Keith Nordahl (Skip); daughter, Linda Duff (David); sister, Marly Thompson (Quint); granddaughter, Cassandra Lowery (Stevie); grandson, Chris Nordahl; great granddaughter, Ansley Kate Lowery; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Jeffery Nordahl; brothers, Kenneth Merta and Bernard Merta; and grandson, Ryan Duff.

The Rosary will at 4:45 PM with Visitation from 5 to 7 PM, on Friday November 25, 2016 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM, on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Doug Halsema, celebrant.
