Mary Jane Pasco, 99, native of Pensacola, FL passed away Friday, August 26, 2016.
Mrs. Pasco was born on June 26, 1917 to Josiah and Shirley Baillies in Pensacola, FL and spent her entire life here. As a young lady, she liked riding a ferry to Pensacola Beach and Floridatown to enjoy the beaches and dancing. She attended Florida State College for Women (FSU) for 2 years, and then returned to Pensacola to marry. Mrs. Pasco was a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church. She was an avid golfer, master point bridge player, knitter, Sunday school teacher and an accomplished furrier and seamstress. She lived her life as she wanted her children and grandchildren to live theirs', loving often, being kind, always being on their best behavior, work hard, and living life to its fullest in God's way through happiness and love.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Pasco.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Ferriss Gray and her children, Katrina McCullough (Scott), Kimberly Tucci (Michael) and Lockwood Gray (Shannon); her son, Bill Pitt Ferriss (Loretta) and their children, Jefferson Ferriss, Christopher Ferriss and Jon Lee (Beth); as well as 14 great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held 10:00am Saturday, September 3, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Frank Beall officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church Columbarium or to a charity of your choice.
The family wants to give a special thanks to all the staff and caregivers at Victorian Manor in Pace, FL and Emerald Coast Hospice for their kind, loving and compassionate care they provided to our mother.
