Mary Jeanne Sodd, age 86, of Pensacola, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, in Pensacola, FL. Mary was a native of Pensacola where she was born to the late Arthur and Violet Ruggerio Bond on November 21, 1934. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jenna Jacob; a brother, Paul Bond; a nephew, Trey Bond and several other relatives.

Mary was a loving mother and Nannie who was of the Catholic faith. She was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her daughter, Lanna (Phil) Jacob, of Pensacola;  a granddaughter, Christian (David) DeJesus, of Pensacola; a grandson, Philip Jacob, of S.C.; five great grandchildren, Sina, Zack, Noelle, Ryan and Hunter; two brothers, Chuck (Jo) Bond and Rit Bond (Lynette); a sister-in-law, Mary Bond;  a special aunt, Gloria; good friend's, Brenda Greene and Faye Lisk.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Mary at 11:00am on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Craig Smith, celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be, Phil Jacob, David DeJesus, Zack DeJesus, Philip Jacob, Ryan Jacob and Hunter Jacob.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Care Hospice, 5041 N. 12 ^th Ave., Pensacola, FL, 32504.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Doctors and Staff of Covenant Care Hospice and everyone at The Haven Our Lady of Peace Nursing Home, for all the loving care shown to Mary.
