Mary S. Kerr, 93 of Pensacola, FL, passed away of natural causes on August 18, 2020.

Mary was born in Pensacola, FL on Christmas Day 1926 , lived for several years in Danville, IL, and returned to live in Pensacola in 1959.  Mary attended Pensacola High School and worked for Hyster Corporation. In Danville, Mary met Joseph L. Kerr and the couple married on November 26, 1953 at St. Paul Catholic Church.

Mary was an active member of St. Paul Catholic Church for over six decades and enjoyed the extremely close companionship of her bridge club, gardening, and cooking.

Mary is preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband of 58 years, Joseph L. Kerr (of Up per Sandusky, OH ); her mother, Gladys Anita Stearns Spaulding (of Pensacola, FL); her father, Ira h Dudley Spaulding (of Brattleboro, VT); and her sister, Betty Ann Roark (of Pensacola, FL) .

Survivors inc lude her son, Lawrence D. Kerr and son-in-law, Leon Barrocas of Washington, D.C.

A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Bayview Memorial Park with Deacon Richard Lurton officiating .

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
