Mary Hilton Stow, age 90, a resident of Pensacola, FL, died on August 16, 2017.

Mary was born March 17, 1927 in Moorestown, NJ. She graduated from Moorestown Friends School in 1945 and married George Clifford Stow Jr. in 1948. Mary was a devoted wife and wonderful loving mother, whose smile and positive nature was felt by all who knew her. Mary was passionate about gardening, her beloved dogs and her Quaker roots, especially her Quaker school, Moorestown Friends School. Her laughter and smile will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, George C. Stow Jr.; her brother, Armydis Hilton and sister, Alice Hilton Gassaway.

She is survived by her 3 children, Cindy Stow, Libby Stow Miklovich (James) of Pensacola, FL and Cliff Stow (Colleen); 4 grandchildren, Bryce Whitford, Drew Whitford, Joshua Stow and Lisa Stow; 3 great grandchildren, Dylan Stow-Bailly, Ava Stow-Bailly and Andie Whitford.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

A special thank you to our beloved Rose Jutson of Pensacola whose many years of devotion to both Mary and George will never be forgotton.
