Mary Jane (Terry) Cervino Pokrant, 75, died suddenly at home Monday, September 30, 2013. She was born on January 15, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA. Terry was well known in local genealogy circles for her extensive research and records and was a long-time member of the Pensacola Philatelic Society. Mrs. Pokrant was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Awald Edward (Pokey) Pokrant, Sr. She is survived by her sons; Awald and Jim and her daughter, Marie all of Pensacola and her two brothers; Jim and Carl Cervino of Philadelphia. Visitation will begin on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11:15am and services will follow at 12:15pm at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at 1:15pm at Barrancas National Cemetery. The family thanks the staff of Sacred Heart Hospital for the care and attention extended to Terry.
