Mary E. Toole Earnest, 91, of Milton, FL went to her heavenly home on Monday, December 9, 2013. Mary was talented in many areas and used those talents in serving her church family. She loved having dinners and holiday celebrations with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Wilbur T. Earnest; her parents, Jay T. Toole and Mary L. Toole Martin; her brothers, Jay T. Toole, Jr. and William (Willie) Toole and a great granddaughter, Sarah Beth Martin. Mary is survived by her son, W. Thomas Earnest, Jr. (Peggy); daughters, Barbara Earnest Martin (Marcus), Wilma F. Earnest Brown and M. Gayle Earnest Welch (Paul); her grandchildren, Robert W. Brown, Jr., Daniel Brown, Marc Martin, Leon E. Martin, Howard E. Earnest, Tyson Earnest, Becky Wright, Keith Sorrell, Kraig Sorrell and Rina Couperthwaite; twenty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; a sister, Frances Mix and many nieces and nephews. Until we celebrate with her again in our heavenly homes there will be a Visitation from 12noon until Funeral services beginning at 1:00pm Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Hickory Hammock Baptist Church in Milton, FL with Pastor Carl Gallups officiating. A Graveside service will follow at 2:30pm at Bayview Memorial Park, Pensacola. The family wishes to express a special Thank You to her devoted son, Thomas and his wife Peggy and to Mary's daughter Wilma for serving and caring for Mary's daily needs in those last days. Also a special Gratitude to Dr. Samuel Parker.
