Mary Nell Doughty Vail of Pensacola passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Azalea Trace. A native of Tuscaloosa, AL, born January 27, 1915, she was a member of Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church.

Mary Nell is predeceased by her husband, Robert Burford Vail, and her son, Robert Bruce Vail. She is also predeceased by her parents, Bruce Samuel and Hazie Malinda Ayers; brothers, William Doughty and Orus Doughty; sisters, Hazie Rochelle Doughty Hamner, Brucie Lee Doughty Hinton, and Ethel Alice Doughty McGahey.

Mary Nell is survived with loving memories by her sisters, Dena Louise Doughty Lancashire, Ida Imogene Doughty Beaty; brother, John Henry Doughty; daughter-in-law, Virginia Vail; two grandsons, Christian Vail (Bonnie) of Pensacola and Alexander Vail of St. Augustine, FL; granddaughter, Lindsay Vail Walker (Nels) of Jacksonville, FL and granddaughter, Stella Grace Vail.

A Graveside Service will be held 10:00am Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Bayview Memorial Park.
