Mary Elizabeth Vance, 94 of Pensacola started her new life with the Lord on April 20, 2015. Mary was born March 25, 1921 in Boone, IA to Florence and Silus Paulson. She was a member of Gadsden Street United Methodist Church and was active in the UMW and Young at Heart. Her husband of 62 years, James E. Vance, Jr.; parents; a brother; three sisters; and two nephews preceded Mary in death. Survivors include her daughters, Kay Norris, Judy Horner (Jeff); three grandchildren, Jake Bryant, Serena Broughton (Matt) and James Givens; two great grandchildren, Alexis and CJ; three nieces, Cindy, Peggy and Robin; nephew, Jeff. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00pm Friday, April 24, 2015 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be 2:30pm Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bobby Ellisor officiating. A private burial will be held at Bayview Memorial Park.
