Matthew David Hubbell, 33, of Johns Creek, GA passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the family home in Gulf Breeze, FL.

Matthew was born June 8, 1984, in Atlanta, GA. He attended Woodward Academy, Atlanta, GA, Ben Franklin Academy, Atlanta, GA and Appalachian State, Boone, NC. As a young man, he enjoyed hiking, camping, snow skiing, and deep-sea diving and he greatly enjoyed gardening. Matthew was a kind and gentle man who touched many lives and loved his family. He will always be loved and greatly missed by his family and ones he touched.

He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, A. J. and Jane Streetman of Buford, GA; paternal grandparents, Allen and Irene Hubbell of Atlanta, GA.

He is survived by parents, Richard and Marjorie Hubbell of Johns Creek, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Anna Hubbell of Suwanee, GA; nephew and niece, Carter and Jordan Hubbell of Suwanee, GA; uncle, Dr. Robert and Jane Hubbell of Atlanta, GA; aunts, Lynne Leary of Indianapolis, IN and Pamela McGehee of Gulf Breeze, FL; cousins, Evan McGehee of Pensacola, FL, Marisa Hungershafer of Albany, NY, Rachel Larson of Indianapolis, IN, Michael Leary of Albany, NY and Holly Bentley of Charlotte, NC; as well as his much loved family pets, Heather, Sophie, and Louie.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Atlanta, GA.
