Matthew Ferris Stancil, age 36, of Pensacola, was called home on Thursday, February 4, 2021.

Matthew was born in Anniston, AL to Ramona Phillips Stancil and the late William H. Stancil. Matthew was of the Christian faith, he was loved and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Matthew enjoyed camping and spending time at the beach. He liked to watch UFC and play video games, he also spent time volunteering with a church youth group called "Royal Rangers".

Those left to cherish his memory include, a son, Dylan Stancil, of Pensacola, FL; his mother, Ramona Stancil (Barry), of Ranburne, AL; a brother, Mike Stancil (Shawna), of East Wenatchee, WA; a sister, Sharon English (John), of Pensacola, FL. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends at 1:00pm until a memorial service to honor the life of Matthew to begin at 2:00pm Monday, February 22, 2021 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Wes Alvarez and Pastor Mike Gill, officiating.
