Maureen Mae Morris passed away quietly on Sunday, September 5, 2010 in the presence of her loving family in Pensacola, FL. Born in Albany, NY, Maureen attended Holy Names Academy and Rochester Institute of Technology where she met her husband of 57 years, Donald. She was formerly employed as Public Relation Director of HCA-Mohawk Valley General Hospital in Ilion, NY. Mae was active in local and New York State politics, and retired to Clearwater, FL in 1987, and relocated to Pensacola in 2005. She is survived by her husband Donald; sons, Mark (Mary Jo) of East Amherst, NY and Daniel of Pensacola; daughters, Nancy Morris Grossi (Joe) of Pensacola and Maureen Arciero (Paul) of New City, NY; along with seven grandchildren; sisters, Joan and Kathy; and multiple nieces and nephews scattered about the US who loved Aunt Mae dearly. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30am Friday, September 10, 2010 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Pensacola, FL with Fr. Peter McLaughlin celebrant. The family has requested memorials contributions be made to St. Michael Catholic Church, 19 N. Palafox St., Pensacola, FL 32502. The family would like to express a special thanks to Drs.
