Maurice Wayne Bobby Walters, 78, of Pensacola, FL passed away after a prolonged illness on Friday, September 10, 2010. Bobby was born February 14, 1932 to the late Rev. Theodore A. and Mary Catherine (Presley) Walters, Sr. He was a long time board member and active member at Baywoods Assembly of God Church and retired from Independent Life Insurance. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy E. Walters; daughters, Liz Fratto (Glenn) of NJ, Amy Welch (Tom) of Pensacola and Tammy Fountain (Rev. Rick) of NY; 8 grandchildren Laury Fratto Rosado (Jaime), Brian Fratto, Jennifer Fratto, Michelle Welch Shoumaker (Shane), Michael Wayne Welch (Sonya), Bobby Joe Welch (Tabby), Scott Fountian (Megan), Chrissy Fountain Tolentino (Alvin); 7 great-grandchildren Skyler Shoumaker, Morgan Shoumaker, Katie Shoumaker, Emma Leeann Welch, Kayley Welch, Amy Welch, and Aaron Fountain; sisters, Ann Thomas of Pensacola, Mary Catherine Whitehead of MS; also a brother, Rev. Theodore Walters, Jr. of OH; mother-in-law, Thelma D. Wendt; sister-in-law, Gay Bursey (Rev. Steve); brother-in-law, Earl Wendt (Janet); and devoted friends, Rev. A.T. and Mary Chance. Visitation will be held 2-4pm Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 11:00am Monday, September 13, 2010 at Baywoods Assembly of God Church, 1605 Woodchuck Ave. with Rev. Al Haas, Rev. T.A. Walters, Jr. and Rev. Steven Bursey officiating. Burial will follow at Whitmire Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
