Obituary

Max Gerald Enfinger, 84, of Pensacola, FL departed this life on Friday, September 10, 2021.

He was born on August 5, 1937, in Black, AL to the late Raymond and Donnie Enfinger. Max proudly served in the US Air Force for 20 years as an aircraft specialist. Max got his private pilot's license during his last year in the Air Force. He then went to work at Air Products & Chemicals in Pace, FL for 25 years as a refrigeration mechanic & planner. Max was a longtime member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Pensacola, FL. He loved to travel with his wife, Betty of 37 years. They enjoyed numerous trips traveling out of the country & within the US. Max courageously fought cancer for eight years.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Betty; children, Maxine DeBord (David) of Black, AL, Mark Enfinger (Loretta) of Alachua, FL, and Lisa Jones (Matt) of Folsom, CA; grandchildren, Marcus Enfinger, Mitchell and Kristen Jones, and Rose and Ray DeBord; brothers, Bobby (Frances) & Donald Enfinger; as well as a sister, Glenda Bennett (Donald).

Memorial service will be held 4:00pm Friday, October 1, 2021, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church, 7979 N. 9th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32514.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Episcopal Church.

Heartfelt thanks are given to oncologist, Dr Tarek Eldawy of Sacred Heart Cancer Center, and nurse DJ Frank of Covenant Hospice for their compassionate care.
