Michael Francis Bloomer, 56, of Pensacola, FL passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Michael was born in Corona, CA on April 3, 1954. He graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School in 1972 and then attended University of West Florida to obtain a BBA. After graduation he went to Troy State University to earn a MBA in Nursing Home Administration. He went on to work at West Florida Hospital as a Medical Technologist for over 20 years and eventually became a Nursing Home Administrator for several years. He enjoyed coaching youth soccer teams including the Hot Spurs for over a decade. Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents; father-in-law, Louis; mother-in-law, Mary; and a brother, Tim. Survivors include his parents, Donald and Evelyn Bloomer of Elberta, AL; four brothers, Chris, Tom, James, and Brent; three sisters, Barbara, Donna, and Liz; two sons, Michael and Sean; two daughters, Tracy and Mercedes; as well as his loving wife, Stacey. Visitation will be held 9:00am until Memorial Service to begin at 10:00am Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with military honors.
