Michael E. Shuttleworth, 70, of Pensacola died Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Mr. Shuttleworth was born on March 7, 1941 in Washington D. C. to Paul and Gladys Shuttleworth. He was the owner and operator of Modern Exteriors, Inc. for 25 years. He was an avid golfer playing mainly at Osceola, and was a member of the Hackers Golf Tour. Mr. Shuttleworth was an active member of the St. Paul Catholic Church, and was a member of the Serra Club of the Pensacola/ Tallahassee Diocese. His parents and brother James Shuttleworth preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Claudia Cain Shuttleworth; sons, David and Stephen Shuttleworth and Wayne Guy; daughter, Kathleen Watson and four grandchildren. A Rosary will be prayed at 5:00pm Friday April 1, 2011 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, followed by the visitation until 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, April 2, 2011 at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Doug Halsema celebrant. Burial will follow at 12:00pm at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504; or to Alzheimers Family Services, 1901 N. Palafox, Pensacola, FL 32501.
