Michael "Mike" Burton Spence, 62, passed away at his residence officially on Sunday, November 16, 2025, in Pensacola, FL.

Mike was born on February 14, 1963, in Mobile, AL to William "Bill" and Virginia Spence. He was a brother, father, friend and a big presence in many lives. Mike grew up in Pensacola and had a lively childhood alongside his brother and sister. Instead of pursuing a path in education, Mike left school at a young age, choosing instead to pursue a path in the workforce. Mike worked on an oil rig in Texas, worked for a crew that helped build our very own Civic Center (he loved reminding everyone), and he was a successful entrepreneur with his business MBS Vinyl Siding Inc. Mike was proud of his work and would always point out any homes he had worked on.

Mike was a family man, he married his longtime love of 10 years, Suzanne Sheinholtz. They were married for 29 years and raised 2 daughters, Kathryn and Linzy. He enjoyed fishing, football, and the freedom of a motorcycle ride. Mike could always forgive and forget, a fight one day was forgotten the next.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lisa Spence.

Survivors include his daughters, Kathryn Michele Spence and Linzy Eleanor Spence Palasota (Wayne); his brother, Tracy Spence (Stacey); as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am until a Memorial Service begins at 10:30am Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. All family and friends are welcome to attend. Please keep Mike's family in your thoughts and prayers.
