Mildred Azeline Martin Mounce, 92, of Pensacola, FL, died peacefully at home on Friday, June 6, 2025.

Mildred was born on November 25, 1932, in Yadkin County, NC to Charlie and Lessie Martin. She enjoyed collecting art, antiques, and thrifting, after many years of success as a franchisee and operator of several pet stores.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, John Mounce; her son, David Mounce; as well as her sister and brother, Jean Mabe and Jack Martin.

Survivors include her sister, Clesta Wilson; two daughters, Sarah Burrow and Rebecca Perrenot; her grandchildren, John Mounce, Jenifer Querns, James Perrenot, and Justin Burrow; as well as her great and great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held 9:00am Friday, June 13, 2025, at Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 2885 E. Olive Rd., Pensacola, FL 32514, with Pastor John Schortmann officiating. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Rd., Pensacola, FL 32508.
