Minnie Eva Henderson O'Bryan, 92, a resident of Carpenter's Creek in Pensacola, FL passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. She was born on December 24, 1921 in Fatama, Wilcox County, AL; the daughter of Walter Franklin and Minnie Ellen Watford Henderson and graduated from Moore Academy in Pine Apple, AL. Minnie worked for many years as a Clerk for Pensacola Builders Supply and also for a local credit union. She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband, and was a member of the Pensacola Garden Club and the Pensacola Women's Club, as well as being active with a competitive ballroom dancing group. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo (Jack) O'Bryan; a sister, Edna Clyde Henderson Campbell and a brother, Walter Clarence Henderson. She is survived by her sister, Nellie Henderson Holtzberger, who continues to reside at Carpenter's Creek in Pensacola and a nephew, Dwayne Campbell, Jr. along with a number of other nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held 10:30am Tuesday, September 9, 2014 with a Funeral service beginning at 11:30am from Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
